HKJMA International Jewelry Event Website & Mobile App Development
The Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers’ Show (HKIJMS), held annually over the last 20 years, is organised by HKJMA. The international exhibition serves as a sourcing and an immediate sale platform for some of the best valued quality jewelry. This year over a thousand booths and exhibitors came from over 17 countries and regions.
As part of their promotion, we produced the official website for HKIJMS and featured all the event information and all the details on participating members and their booths. The website was made with a responsive web design (RWD), which added to the user experience since most users will view the website from their mobile. We also implemented a content management system (CMS) for ease of maintenance.
The app condenses all event needs into the mobile screen. Shortly after a brief but informative onboarding, users can gain access to all the handy functions the app has to offer. The app aims to blend the online experience with the physical exhibition by providing functionalities such as e-coupon and pre-registration. For example, users are able to collect e-coupons scanning QR codes and redeem those coupons in the physical exhibition. The app also makes it easy for merchants and business owners to locate and find the products and companies of interest by providing an elaborate list of exhibitors, product highlights and business matching functions. Users can easily bookmark companies they are interested in and make notes on their own calendar with just a few clicks, so that they can be reminded of when/where to make visit to their favourite exhibitors. We have condensed the functions of a pamphlet, calendar, inbox and more into one mobile app, providing a smooth online-to-offline experience for all visitors.
