Health insurance made easy
Prudential has been serving the people of Hong Kong since 1964, providing a range of financial planning services and products including individual life insurance, investment-linked insurance, retirement solutions, health and medical protection, general insurance and employee benefits to protect over 1 million customers in Hong Kong. The Food and Health Bureau has designed the Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (“VHIS”) to give Hong Kong residents the choice of using private healthcare services through simple, easily accessible hospital cover, and Prudential is one of the registered VHIS providers.
Choosing the right medical plan could be a confusing task for many, and we are privileged to have the opportunity to make this a better experience with a mobile app. The app provides a series of handy tools, including three handy calculators that allow users to respectively calculate an estimated amount of deducted tax, claimable amount and premium based on information user provided and his/her policy coverage. The app also provides an introduction to VHIS and Prudential's own VHIS schemes, and an extensive list of frequently asked questions.
