SFC Corporate Website Revamp with Enterprise CMS

User-centric web design for Hong Kong's securities and futures markets regulator

Brief:
The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) manages a corporate website (www.sfc.hk) which allows the public to assess up-to-date information about its work and regulations. To improve process efficiency and the user experience, the SFC plans to revamp the website’s content management system (CMS) as well as its search functions and overall look and feel.

We are pleased to be entrusted with a series of tasks, including the revamped website’s UI/UX, frontend web development, website layout and other visual elements such as hero images. We have presented our design suggestions to the SFC Project Team after an extensive review of the original website’s massive information architecture - with pages and data of over a thousand pages’ worth. For the website of Hong Kong’s financial regulator, we have provided enhancements so that information is easily navigable for all stakeholders - from corporates, financial professionals to the general public. We also have endeavoured to improve the website’s mobile experience by enhancing navigation and the presentation of contents.

On the technical aspects, we have worked on system integration for 3rd party systems. We have also collaborated closely with SFC, Kinetix & GTI throughout the entire design process. Thanks to the their technical expertise, the site is equipped with an enterprise-level CMS - Sitecore; and with the insightful input from the SFC Project Team, we were able to create such an informative website with utmost accuracy and precision, which is of paramount importance for the official website of SFC - a financial regulator in one of Asia’s most prominent financial hubs.
