Cheung Kong Holdings: Celestial Heights

Flash motion graphics bring out the sparkle in a residential estate's website

Brief:

Located in To Kwa Wan, Kowloon, Celestial Heights is a private housing estate by Cheung Kong Holdings. The price paid for the land to develop the estate was the second highest recorded in Hong Kong property history, costing a staggering HK$9.4 billion.

The website design reflected how prestigious and upper class the residential estate is, especially considering how much was invested into its development. The front-end coding was done in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We wanted the art direction to showcase how glamorous and magical the estate is, so we developed flash motion graphics, flash action script coding, video editing and flash video presentation to add a sparkle to the site and to create engaging interactive elements.

For the production of the artwork and images, we took into account the information architecture (IA) and the design of the website layout so that all the individual elements would blend neatly together for a much smoother navigation, for which we also provided a usability analysis to get a better idea of user experience.
