The missions of HKMC Annuity Limited (HKMCA) are to facilitate retirement financial planning through provision of annuity products for Hong Kong citizens; and promote the development of the local annuities market.
With large volume of new-to-society product information, we considered much on the information architecture (IA) of the website. This is challenging to balance the beauty of honesty, professional and informative website. Our team created neat and tidy design with action functions to guide reader to understand more about this new financial product. Besides, we proposed to apply a reader friendly navigation approach with sub-levels to ease the navigation flow and enrich the usage of homepage.
This website revamp project has its purpose in re-branding and status positioning. A comprehensive design should be able to apply in various devices to enhance the user-experience (UX) and accessibility. The HKMCA website was therefore created with a Responsive Web Design (RWD) to cater desktop, tablet and mobile users, to as well optimize the mobile device performance and interactive experience across devices and adhered to the World Wide Web Consortium, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (W3C WCAG) 2.0 Level AA standard.
